The partnership between Flavio Caronni and Donato Bonanomi began in the mid-1980s through residential design projects and architectural competitions. Prior to this, Flavio Caronni had practiced interior design since the early 1970s, while Donato Bonanomi focused on design for the textile industry. In 1990, they established a joint architecture studio, expanding their professional scope to include residential and industrial projects, structural renovations, and interior and product design.
