Born in 1987, Guglielmo Poletti is a Milan-based designer who earned his MA from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2016. Grounded in a "thinking by doing" philosophy, his practice explores material limits and minimalist structural tension. Poletti’s portfolio includes collaborations with Desalto, Galleria Rossana Orlandi, and Wallpaper*. His professional excellence is marked by the 2018 ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award, the Rising Talent Award in Paris (2018), and a Young Talent of the Year nomination by Elle Decor Italia (2019). Notably, his Equilibrium Stool is part of the permanent collection at the Design Museum Gent.
